We are currently seeking a Custom Thermal Engineer to join our dynamic team in Zagreb, Croatia!

• This position is responsible for Air Handling Unit (AHU) thermodynamic mechanical design, with an emphasis on refrigeration design which includes; calculation and selection of compressors, evaporators, condensers, DX piping, EEX/TEX valves, and all or key components in a refrigeration circuit. Excellent knowledge of refrigeration gases and the current EU legislation to control F-gases. In addition, it is preferable to possess knowledge of calculation and selection of CW components and direct evaporative cooling systems.
• Besides technical knowledge, Custom Thermal Thermal Engineer should have good communication skills, because the position requires constant communication with other discipline designers as with client representatives.
• This position should be familiar with software applications used in AHU design.

What kind of work will you be doing?

• Read and understand requirements for new solution products.
• Create specification and presentation for new product.
• Work on their tasks inside multidisciplinary team of people.
• Create technical documentation required for sourcing, production and testing.
• Design documentation for AHU
• Coordinate team to understand solution and selection in order to secure successful project
• Create and / or check BOMs
• To be involved in design inspection audits and supporting commissioning and FATs
• Take care of product quality.
• Responsibility to engineer solution with optimized price / performance.
• To constantly take care about purchased products from his responsibility
• To support procurement team for a product from his responsibility
• Join the sales persons any time when technical support is required
• Coordinate the team in order to deliver needed documentation to customers and / or sales

What will make you successful?

• At least 5 years of previous working experience on similar job description (Refrigeration design engineer)
• MME (Masters in Mechanical Engineering) required
• Good oral and written communication skills are a must (English required)
• A high level of motivation
