Summary:

As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of specialized software applications. This role requires taking ownership of the project s technical direction and serving as the main liaison for all application-related activities. The position demands coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure the solutions meet business needs while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. The role also includes overseeing the integration of new features and troubleshooting issues to optimize application performance and user experience.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead the planning and execution of software development activities to meet project goals.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and business units to align objectives.
• Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP for Utilities Billing.
• Strong knowledge of software design principles and application configuration.
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex software issues.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage project deliverables.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle and best practices.

Additional Information

• The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP for Utilities Billing.
• This position is based at our Kolkata office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
