Summary:

As a Project Manager, a typical day involves having a deep understanding of ServiceNow capabilities, a proven track record in delivering large-scale platform migrations and process re-engineering initiatives, and a meticulous approach to managing complex interdependencies. The role specifically focuses on transforming modules such as Software Asset Management (SAM), End-to-End (E2E) process integration, EB4P, Patch Management, Cloud Workflows, Integrated Risk Management (IRM), and Phase 2 of Hardware Asset Management (HAM). Collaboration with cross-functional teams and continuous refinement of software elements are integral parts of the daily workflow, fostering innovation and responsiveness to evolving project needs.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end project lifecycle for Phase 2 ServiceNow transformation initiatives, from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, control, and closure. This includes developing detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation strategies
  • Oversee the assessment of existing legacy dbServiceNow processes for SAM, E2E, EB4P, Patch Management, Cloud Workflows, IRM, and HAM (Phase 2). Define and execute migration strategies to transition these processes and associated data to the strategic ServiceNow platform.
  • Work with process owners and subject matter experts to re-engineer, standardize, and optimize processes to leverage native ServiceNow capabilities and best practices, ensuring a future-proof and efficient operational model.
  • Effectively engage and manage relationships with key stakeholders across various departments, including IT Asset Management, Cloud Operations, Risk Management, infrastructure teams, and business units. Manage vendor relationships (e.g., ServiceNow).
  • Collaborate with technical teams, business analysts, and process owners to translate current state legacy processes and desired future state into detailed functional and technical requirements for the strategic ServiceNow platform. Oversee the design and configuration of modules to meet business needs.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, particularly those related to data migration, process discontinuity, and technical interdependencies. Develop and implement robust contingency plans.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive change management strategies, including communication plans, training programs, and user adoption initiatives to ensure successful integration and utilization of the new ServiceNow-based processes.
  • Plan and oversee comprehensive testing cycles (e.g., UAT, integration testing, performance testing) to ensure the migrated processes and implemented solutions meet functional, non-functional, and data integrity requirements.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and allocate resources effectively to ensure projects are delivered within scope, on time, and within budget.
  • Provide regular project status updates, reports, and presentations to senior management and governance bodies, highlighting progress, risks, and key decisions.
  • Ensure all transformation activities and deployed solutions adhere to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards, particularly for sensitive areas like SAM and IRM.

Professional & Technical Skills:

  • Must To Have Skills: Experience in project management, with a strong track record of successfully delivering large-scale IT platform migrations, process transformation, or ServiceNow implementation projects within a complex enterprise environment.
  • Deep and hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform, particularly in implementing and transforming processes within modules: Software Asset Management (SAM Pro), Hardware Asset Management (HAM Pro)

, Integrated Risk Management (IRM/GRC), Orchestration / Cloud Management / Flow Designer (for Cloud Workflows & Patch Management)

  • Strong understanding and experience in business process analysis, re-engineering, and optimization methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, manage expectations, and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels, including senior management.
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a meticulous, data-driven approach to complex challenges.
  • Experience working within the financial services industry, understanding its unique regulatory and operational complexities.
  • Certifications (Desired): PMP, PRINCE2, CSM, ITIL v4, and relevant ServiceNow certifications (e.g., CIS-SAM, CIS-HAM, CIS-IRM/GRC, CSA).
