As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the initiative to design, develop, and configure software applications tailored to specific needs. This role requires taking ownership of the project s technical direction and serving as the main liaison for all application-related activities. The position demands close collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure the solutions meet business requirements while maintaining high standards of quality and performance. The engineer actively manages the lifecycle of the software, from initial concept through deployment and ongoing support, ensuring seamless integration and functionality within the broader system environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for application development.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions by managing tasks effectively.
- Mentor junior team members and provide guidance to support their professional growth.
- Continuously evaluate and improve application performance and scalability.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Azure Data Services.
- Good To Have Skills: Data Governance.
- Experience in designing and implementing cloud-based data solutions using Microsoft Azure platforms.
- Strong knowledge of data storage, processing, and security best practices within cloud environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize data workflows and pipelines for efficiency and reliability.
- Familiarity with integration of various data services and tools to support enterprise-level applications.
