As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves collaborating closely with various stakeholders to understand and clarify business needs. You will engage in designing tailored software solutions that align with organizational processes and objectives. Your role includes analyzing existing workflows, proposing enhancements, and ensuring that the applications developed effectively support business operations. Throughout the day, you will participate in discussions to refine requirements and contribute to the overall design strategy, ensuring that the software solutions are both functional and scalable to meet evolving business demands.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Assist in the documentation and communication of application design specifications.
- Support the testing and validation of software applications to ensure they meet business needs.
- Continuously update knowledge on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance solution design.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Duck Creek Billing.
- Experience with software development lifecycle and application design principles.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve application issues effectively.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and working with APIs related to billing systems.
- Good communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Duck Creek Billing.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
