As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, construction, and configuration of software applications. This role requires acting as the main liaison for project activities, coordinating efforts to ensure seamless integration and functionality. The position demands proactive engagement with various stakeholders to align project goals and deliverables, while overseeing the progress and quality of the application development lifecycle. The role also includes troubleshooting challenges and adapting solutions to meet evolving project requirements, ensuring that the applications meet the intended business needs effectively and efficiently.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and enhance team capabilities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team to optimize development processes and outcomes.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP BW/4HANA Data Modeling & Development.
- Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and experience in designing scalable data models.
- Experience in developing and optimizing data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Familiarity with performance tuning and troubleshooting within SAP BW/4HANA environments.
- Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated software solutions.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP BW/4HANA Data Modeling & Development.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
