Custom Project ManagerThis role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.

The Custom Project Manager in Support Services Delivery is responsible for scoping, planning, executing, and closing customized support projects for clients. This role ensures bespoke support solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and to the agreed specifications, acting as the main point of contact between clients and internal teams. The role owns and managed through Custom-based requirements, included primarily through Complete Care contracts and also includes (but not limited to): Inventory management, entitlement support, billing and invoicing, and case management responsibilities. Their involvement begins when the project is assigned and continues throughout the contract lifecycle, including support for renewal processes. This is a Day 2 service role, focused on ongoing delivery and customer satisfaction post-sale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead large, cross- functional project teams, providing mentoring and guidance on operational and tactical issues
  • Build and nurture customer relationship at senior level management
  • Partner with management and the extended organization to identify operational inefficiencies, as well as identify, develop and solution new business opportunities.
  • Manage financials and contractual performance, implement corrective actions
  • Build strong relationships and partner closely with HPE Leadership teams, Account teams and delivery partners
  • Develop and maintain strong understanding of HPE Pointnext Services portfolio and services
  • Develop and obtain in-depth knowledge of partner agreements and service delivery guides
  • Analyse performance data and trends to identify areas of risks or improvement opportunities and collaborate with stakeholders to develop mitigation/action plans
  • Conduct post incident reviews to identify breakdowns during the process, identify improvement opportunities and establish ownership to develop/implement action plans
  • Communicate clearly and concisely to maintain alignment of contractual obligations and manage expectations between delivery partners and HPE Account teams
  • Apply project management skills and tools to identify, develop and implement processes, manage multiple stakeholders/priorities and ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner
  • Leverage active listening and knowledge of HPE solutions to identity areas of additional services and potential revenue growth
  • Enable your curiosity and innovation to identify process improvements and operational efficiencies

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, Project Management, or similar experienced in customer support
  • Advanced English Level
  • 3+ years’ experience in project management, preferably in support services or IT service delivery.
  • Experience managing custom or non-standard projects for enterprise customers.
  • Strong client-facing skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana).

Desired Attributes:

  • Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL certification) preferred.
  • Experience with inventory management and entitlement tracking systems is a plus.
  • Customer-focused mindset.
