Custody Specialist I (CS I), Private Banking, Waltham, MA-
The Custody Specialist I position has responsibility for supporting the day-to-day client servicing administration of custody relationships. This includes processing transactions such as payment of client bills/invoices, wires, internal cash transfers, deliveries receives or any other client request in a timely and accurate manner. Effective communication, strong attention to detail and the ability to handle workflow/prioritize is required to comprehend and address the timing of client requests. Review overdraft, pending securities transactions, and corporate action reports on a daily basis. Perform administrative analysis of new and existing accounts for Administrative Reviews. Works collaborative manner with custody team members to open/close accounts, set up ticklers, remittance events and other account maintenance requirements. Address or escalate client issues/inquiries or other related custody functions in accordance with policies and procedures. Perform information analysis and address related projects as needed. Responsible for coordination with external partners (investment managers, brokers, attorneys, accountants) and internal support partners (Client Relationship/Sales Teams, Securities Operations, Tax Compliance, etc.) to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient custody administration.
The qualified candidate will possess a BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience and knowledge of securities and custody administration, in addition to high net worth and/or Private Bank client specific experience is required. In addition to being computer proficient including knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook), possessing strong written and grammatical skills, along with solid organizational and communication abilities, all while working in a fast paced dynamic work environment.
