
Custodian
Position Function:
The Custodian(s) provides a safe, clean, attractive, and comfortable environment to ensure full and productive use of school and parish facilities. To accomplish these tasks, the Custodian(s) must work closely with the staff and administration of the school and parish. The Custodian(s) shall be responsible to the Principal and Pastor.
Essential Functions: (These duties may be shared by several persons or adjusted to the special needs of the individual parish.)
Equipment : Uses hand tools of trade and related power equipment, including brooms, mops, floor cleaning and waxing machines, vacuum cleaners, snow blowers, shovels, power mower and hand tools.
Safety Requirements
Follows all applicable safety rules, procedures and regulations governing the proper use of tools and power equipment used in the performance of duties.
Wears appropriate safety gear, including masks.
Must comply with school district's chemical hygiene program and follow MSDS sheets.
