What we ask of you:

  • Keeping Things Spotless: Do you enjoy cleaning and organizing? You’ll be responsible for sweeping, mopping, sanitizing, and maintaining classrooms, hallways, and other spaces.
  • Fixing Small Problems Before They Become Big Ones: Are you handy with tools and quick to solve maintenance issues? You’ll take care of minor repairs and report anything needing extra attention.
  • Staying Active and Energetic: Do you like staying on your feet and working in a fast-paced environment? This role involves physical activity like lifting, moving, and standing throughout your shift.
  • Being Reliable: Are you someone others can count on? You’ll play an essential part in keeping our schools running smoothly.
  • Caring About Safety: Do you notice details and think ahead? You’ll help ensure a safe environment by following cleaning protocols and identifying hazards.

The Auburn-Washburn School District is made up of 128 square miles of sub-urban and rural areas in southwest Topeka and Shawnee County.
