In this role, you will travel with a team to various commercial buildings, ensuring they are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards. -Position: Custodian - Mobile Workforce Technician II

Schedule (available selection):

-Monday to Friday 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

-Monday to Friday 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM

-Monday to Friday 4:00 PM – 1:00 AM

-Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM

-Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM

The Mobile Workforce Technician II performs advanced janitorial and facility service tasks that require additional training, including operating commercial cleaning equipment and using specialized cleaning chemicals.

Technician II employees support more complex cleaning routines, assist with equipment-based tasks, and serve as the backup driver for the mobile workforce team when needed.

This role requires prior experience in janitorial or facilities services and the ability to safely operate cleaning equipment.

-Key Responsibilities:

Perform all Technician I cleaning responsibilities

Operate commercial cleaning equipment such as:

Auto-scrubbers

Floor buffers

Burnishers

Perform deep cleaning tasks such as:

Floor scrubbing

Tile and grout cleaning

Specialty floor maintenance

Chemical Handling

Safely use and mix approved cleaning chemicals

Follow chemical dilution procedures

Handle stronger disinfectants and floor care products

Follow S.D.S. and chemical safety protocols

Backup Driver Responsibilities

Serve as backup driver for mobile workforce teams

Safely transport team members and equipment between job sites

Support route coordination when needed

Operational Support

Assist Technician Leads with complex tasks

Help train Technician I employees on cleaning procedures

Maintain accurate documentation of work performed

-Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

Previous janitorial, facilities, or cleaning experience

Experience operating commercial cleaning equipment preferred

Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely

Strong attention to detail and reliability

Ability to handle more complex cleaning tasks

Reliable backup driver capability
