Job Description

The Mt. Lebanon School District is seeking applicants for the position of Custodian at Jefferson Middle School - 2nd Floor Assignment.

This is a full-time, on-site, permanent position, working year round, 40 hours per week. This assignment works Monday through Friday, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM, with schedule adjustments possible during the summer months.

Hourly rates starting at $18.75 per hour for new hires to the District.

Custodians perform daily cleaning duties (sweep, mop, dust, vacuum, sanitizing, etc.), light maintenance, and building and grounds duties.

This is a permanent position that is eligible for fringe benefits after successful completion of a 90 day probationary period:

ADDITIONAL EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS

In order to be eligible for employment, the following clearances must be furnished and approved for hire at time of job offer:

• Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151)
• Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check (Act 34)
• FBI Federal Criminal History Record (Act 114)

The following additional trainings and forms are required upon hire:

• Act 126 Child/Student Abuse Recognition and Reporting
• Arrest or Conviction Form (PDE 6004) (Act 24)
• School Personnel Health Record (Physical with TB Test)
• Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Information (Act 168)
