The University of Iowa Healthcare department of Environmental Services is seeking a Custodian to provide a safe, clean and healthy environment for patients, guests, visitors and staff of The University of Iowa Health Care. While supporting the EVS department as a whole, your primary duties will be to clean the kitchen and dining areas. This position will be assigned at our North Liberty Campus. Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities:General cleaningTrash removalStock supplies for cart and custodial areaClean and disinfect restrooms/ refill restroom suppliesDusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and damp mopping hard surface floorsCarpet cleaningUnit/bed makingWall & ceiling washingFurniture moves and room setupsUse various types of custodial equipment in performance of dutiesOther tasks and duties as assigned Position may have Bloodborne Pathogen Exposure Risk.This position is performed fully on campus.
