In this role, you will perform a variety of duties in cleaning and sanitation at the UCLA West Valley Medical Center's Nutrition Department. This role involves ensuring that all areas identified within the Nutrition department are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, while strictly adhering to safety, sanitation, and food handling protocols. Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, stripping and waxing floors. Washing walls, doors, windows, light fixtures, discarding trash in waste bins. Clean, sanitize and reline all trash containers and linen hampers. Wash and steam rubber floor mats. Responsible for cleaning and proper storage of housekeeping equipment and report all equipment malfunctions to supervisor on duty. Responsible for washing dishes, pans, utensils and small equipment according to established procedures. Adhere to prescribed safety and sanitation practices and procedures. Other related tasks may be assigned as needed.
Salary Range: $27.09 hr
This is an "as needed" per diem position; schedule and working hours will vary. May convert to Career.
