Job Location Brookfield - Brookfield, MO 64628 Position Type Hourly - Production Job Shift 1st Shift- Day

As a Janitor, you are responsible for efficiently keeping offices, breakrooms, restrooms, buildings and plant facilities clean and orderly.

Essential Functions:

• Sweep all floors throughout facilities.
• Mop, wax and polish floors
• Remove trash.
• Pick up litter.
• Clean tables
• Maintain janitorial supplies.
• Work with supervisor and Purchasing Department to get janitorial supplies ordered.
• Dust
• Vacuum floors and rugs
• Wash windows
• Clean and disinfect all restrooms, including sinks, toilets, mirrors, floors, supply replenishment.
• Clean kitchen and break areas, to include microwaves, refrigerators, tables and chairs.
• Clean doors, baseboards and walls.
• Disinfect drinking fountains and sinks throughout the facility.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Ability to remain organized and self-directed.
• Ability to work with limited direction and supervision, while demonstrating good judgment and strict confidence.
• Ability to read, interpret and follow verbal and written instructions, work procedures and other related materials.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands:

• The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 40 pounds.
• Required to sit, stand or walk for prolonged periods of time.
• Use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects or use controls, tools or equipment.
• May require the ability to use a keyboard and other office equipment.
• May require specific vision abilities that include close vision.
• May be required to perform duties beyond standard business hours.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Prior experience as a janitor preferred.
