Job Description

Pay Grade/Pay Range: Minimum: $15.00 - Midpoint: $17.26 (Hourly N1)

Department/Organization: 820603 - UREC Facility Operations

Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Wednesday 4:00am to 12:00pm and Saturday & Sunday 7:00am to 3:00pm, Overtime as needed.

The Custodian performs routine manual work in housekeeping and cleaning of interior spaces and immediate exterior areas. Sweeps, mops, vacuums, polishes and dusts furniture, and cleans restrooms, windows, blinds, mirrors, etc. in buildings across campus.

Additional Department Summary: The Custodian provides housekeeping tasks for assigned areas within UREC Facilities. Cleans all interior spaces and immediate exterior areas of assigned UREC Facilities. Completes required training and promoting a safe, hospitable, and respectful workplace.

Required Minimum Qualifications: Must be able to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions.

Preferred Qualifications: High school degree or GED
