This position is a 12 month position, Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day, from 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm.
Range 27; Schedule M; Step 1: $4,055.71 - Step 5: $4,929.75 (Monthly)
This is a PROMOTIONAL and OPEN recruitment to establish an eligibility list and fill vacancies. The eligibility list will be used to fill vacancies that may occur during the life of the eligibility list. Per agreement with our classified bargaining unit laid-off CVUHSD classified employees have a preference for reemployment to any vacant position for which they are qualified and apply. In a promotional and open recruitment, the promotional list shall take precedence. If the promotional list contains fewer than three eligible and willing ranks, certification of additional ranks shall be made from the open list.
The examination process will consist of a written examination and an oral technical interview.

Under the supervision of a Plant Manager, provide custodial services at an assigned site,maintains a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for students, staff, and visitors, performsspecialized cleaning tasks, and assists in preparing facilities for classroom activities and campus events.

High school diploma or equivalent.
LICENSE REQUIREMENTS: Possession of a valid California driver's license.

Centinela Valley Union High School District consists of three comprehensive high schools (Hawthorne, Lawndale, and Leuzinger) a continuation high school (R.K. Lloyde), and Centinela Valley Independent Study School. CVUHSD serves approximately 5,000 students in grade 9-12 students from neighborhoods in the South Bay area of Los Angeles County.
