Dixon Public Schools is accepting applications for the following full-time custodian position:

POSTING

Evening shifts � 3:00pm � 11:30pm

Locations are to be determined

Custodian Duties Include

1. Assist with building care and equipment repairs.
2. Maintain safe and attractive building and grounds.
3. Clean classrooms, other educational areas, cafeteria, gymnasiums, offices, restrooms and other areas of the building used regularly.
4. Assist in removal of snow and ice; assist in the mowing of grass, trimming of shrubbery, picking up litter, and general grounds maintenance.

Custodian Qualifications

1. Knowledge and skills to perform custodial and maintenance responsibilities.
2. Ability to work well with staff and students.
3. High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Salary and Fringe Benefits

• Hourly rate: $16.00 - $17.28 depending on experience.
• Fifteen (15) days per year sick leave.
• Two (2) days personal leave per year.
• Vacation available after 1 year of service.
• Health, Vision, Dental and Life Insurance offered.
• IMRF Retirement
