Grade 10: $14.06-$15.81 an hour
Job Objective: Clean and maintain all buildings and grounds in a safe and professional manner in order to provide positive educational experiences.
Evaluated by: Immediate Supervisor(s) in collaboration with Custodian Management and Site Administration.
Salary: Salary is dependant upon previous like experience according to the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Work Environment: Inside Edmond Public School District facilities, outdoors during all types of weather and occasionally on roof tops and ledges. Custodians are in regular contact with students, the general public and other EPS personnel.
Education, General Aptitudes and Experience: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), including basic math. Able to communicate clearly and concisely both in oral and written form. Able to read and comprehend procedures and regulations. Able to organize and plan effectively. Preference is given to those with 1 year custodial, floor care and/ or general maintenance experience. Participate in mandatory training.
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to: stand or walk for long periods of time, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, balance, climb, see, talk, and hear. While performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally required to: reach with hands and arms fully extended, lift and or move up to 50 lbs, and work at heights up to 35 feet.
