A Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly school environment for students, staff, and visitors. Custodians help ensure that classrooms, offices, hallways, dormatory, restrooms are properly cleaned and maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean classrooms, hallways, offices, restrooms, dormatory, and common areas.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces.
Empty trash and recycling containers.
Set up and arrange furniture for school events and activities.
Monitor building security by locking and unlocking doors as required.
Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.
Report safety hazards, maintenance issues, or vandalism to supervisors.
Follow health, safety, and sanitation procedures.
Able to lift 20 lbs unassisted
Read and write English
Experience is an asset
Must reside locally and can legally work in Canada
