Custodian (Full-Time or Part-Time)

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour

Job Type: Full-time OR Part-time available

Locations: Crafton & Perrysville areas in Pittsburgh

Arbors Management is seeking a reliable Custodian to assist with maintaining our senior living communities in Crafton and Perrysville. This position can be Full-Time or Part-Time Our Custodians play a vital role in keeping our buildings clean, safe, and welcoming for our senior residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Common Areas: Clean and maintain lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms.
• Apartment Turnovers: Deep clean vacant units to prepare them for new residents.
• Groundskeeping: Handle trash removal, sweep sidewalks, and assist with winter snow/ice removal.
• Compliance: Adhere to safety policies and HUD/Section 8 building standards.

Qualifications

• Reliable Transportation: Ability to travel to the Crafton and/or Perrysville properties.
• Resident-First Attitude: Respectful and professional communication with senior residents.
• Physical Stamina: Able to handle standard custodial work (lifting, sweeping, standing).
• Previous cleaning, housekeeping, or janitorial experience is a plus.
• Ability to pass criminal background and drug screens.
