Position Specific Summary
The Custodian position at the City of Tucson’s Parks and Recreation Department provides general upkeep, routine cleaning, and sanitizing of department facilities and surrounding areas. Responsible for ordering supplies and keeping supplies fully stocked.
Work is performed under the supervision of the Recreation Coordinator. This position does not supervise.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Six (6) months of directly related experience
* Experience cleaning and maintaining high-traffic public facilities including recreation centers, community centers, schools, park facilities, or similar environments.
* Experience maintaining facilities utilized by youth, seniors, and the general public.
* Experience using industrial cleaning equipment and supplies
*Ability to work with minimal supervision
