GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES
Employee performs custodial duties, minor maintenance and other miscellaneous duties necessary to maintain the cleanliness, orderliness, appearance, sanitation and safety of university buildings and facilities both inside and outside. Work involves varied cleaning tasks, some of which may require heavy lifting. Assigned areas may include offices, classrooms, laboratories, residence halls rooms, meeting rooms, lounge areas, art gallery, auditorium, gymnasium, fitness center, and all corridors, hallways, and stairwells. Must be able to perform physical activities and work under inclement weather conditions.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to perform strenuous activities, including but not limited to walking, bending, standing, stooping, climbing stairs and ladders. Incumbent must also be able to lift and/or move items up to 60 pounds.
