CUSTODIAN

ABOUT LCI

ABOUT THIS ROLE

Cleans rooms and halls in commercial establishment. Replenish supplies. Hang drapes and rolls carpets. Clean lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, and stairways. Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floor. Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies. Dust furniture. Wash walls, ceiling, and woodwork. Wash windows, door panels, and sills and empty wastebaskets.

LOCATION AND SCHEDULE

Jackson MS. - ON SITE

Monday-Friday 7:30AM – 4:00 PM

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To keep assigned building interiors clean and orderly; to perform variety of custodial and minor building maintenance duties. Assigned to corporate office primarily.
  • Sweeps, scrubs and mops floors.
  • Strips, waxes, buffs and seals floors as directed.
  • Vacuums and cleans rugs.
  • Cleans bathrooms, walls, fountains, windows and replenishes supplies.
  • Empties trash from assigned offices.
  • Reports necessary repairs to supervisor.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • One year experience in janitorial or light building maintenance; or, combination of training, education, and experience that is equivalent to the employment standard listed above and that provides the required knowledge and abilities.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
