Job Description:

Cleans and maintains on a daily basis all halls, offices, shops, classrooms, restrooms, conference rooms, labs, gym areas, locker rooms, elevators which includes sweeping, dusting, dust-mopping, wet mopping, spot-mopping, reconditioning of floors and spot washing and cleaning of walls, doors, and partitions

Cleans and maintains all floors and floor coverings which includes regular duties such as vacuuming, shampooing, striping, sealing and waxing

Cleans all entrances, entrances walks, steps, patios, and concourses

Spot cleans and cleans all exterior and interior glass surfaces of all assigned buildings; cleans ceiling lights and Venetian blinds

Empties and cleans all waste cans, trashcans, recycle bins, water fountains and doormats

NORMAL WORK SCHEDULE:

Various shifts will be filled from this posting.

Total hours per week is 40.

Management retains the right and discretion to modify schedules, building assignments, shifts and/or days for operational purposes.

Position is considered as Essential Personnel as defined by UF Policy.


Expected Salary:

$15.00 Hourly


Minimum Requirements:

Completion of ninth grade.


Preferred Qualifications:

EDUCATION & TRAINING

High school diploma and two (2) years of commercial custodial experience.
