TDC is a residential facility located in Northwest Ohio. We support youth aged 13-17 and adults with developmental disabilities. We have a large rural campus which provides opportunities for our residents to be active in addition to being part of our community. Our direct care staff and nurses provide 24/7 care to the individuals who call TDC home. We focus on support and stabilization so our individuals can integrate into an environment that best meets their wants and needs.What You'll Do as A Custodial Worker:Our Custodial Workers play a vital role in keeping the facility clean and comfortable for our residents and staff. We have many residential homes and many support buildings on our campus that require frequent cleaning to maintain cleanliness standards and prevent the spread of infection. Example duties include:Dusting, mopping, sweeping, buffing & waxing floorsScrubbing sinks, toilets, countertops, walls & ceilingsDusting/cleaning furniture & equipmentEmptying waste cans & taking trash to dumpstersWashing/polishing windows, glass & mirrorsVacuuming & shampooing carpetingReplenishing soap, toilet paper & paper towels in restroomsMaintaining outdoor spaces by keeping entryways, sidewalks & parking areas free of debris and snow/iceLaundering linensDisinfecting surfacesCleaning state vehiclesStart time will vary depending on weekends scheduled.
