Summary

Reporting to the Manager of Quality Assurance, the Quality Control Evaluator is responsible for performing quality control evaluations at assigned worksite(s) where people who have different abilities work with integrated teams and receive work support and development as needed—achieving the highest level of independence possible.

Completes Quality Control instruction, inspection, and recordkeeping processes to ensure contract compliance and customer satisfaction for the contract. Communicates work performance contract requirements to workers. Provides training, daily instructions on quality issues, support, and ongoing feedback to all workers on job duties, ensuring proper procedures and areas for continuous improvement, with a special focus on quality, safety, and company culture.

Location: Fort McCoy, Sparta Wisconsin

Schedule: Full-Time

Days: Monday-Friday

Hours: 2pm-10pm

Pay: $22.62 per hour + Benefits

Responsibilities

Quality Inspections

Support the Company’s mission by providing quality control services needed for effective business operations. Conduct regular inspections using established inspection criteria and procedures and complete QC reports. Immediately report any deficiencies and any customer complaints to appropriate operations staff.

Audit

Observe and monitor crew members’ work performance; report quality and safety-related observations to Quality Control Manager and provide feedback to QC Manager regarding recommended corrective or preventative actions. Assist the QC Manager with completing audits and entering key info into the QMS (Quality Management System) database for tracking, trending, and inspection. May participate in investigations of allegations of fraud, abuse, or waste.

Customer Satisfaction

Develop professional working partnerships with current and potential key contracting representatives, subcontractors, vendors, and site occupants. Develop and establish appropriate communication methods; promptly investigate and report customer complaints, questions, and requests to the supervisor(s) of the workers assigned to the specific work location. Serves as a liaison between the customer and the Company.

Compliance

Execute all quality control activities in accordance with identified Quality Assurance standards, Quality Manual—current revision, company procedures, client specifications and contract requirements. Assist in completion of generic and project specific risk assessments.

Effective Leadership

Encourage effective outcomes and accountability. Communicate expectations. Evaluate the team for continual improvement, efficiency, and effectiveness. Initiate, coordinate, and enforce systems, policies, and procedures. Mentor and develop the team through training and problem resolution. Build an effective Company culture that embodies our Company values to achieve optimum performance levels and achieve goals and objectives.

Qualifications

Education: High School diploma or GED required. Preferred: 2 years of college.

Experience: 3+ years work experience in janitorial contract. Experience in quality control, training, or inspection preferred. Requires problem solving, time management and attention to detail skills.

Certifications/Licenses: For Custodial in WI: ISO 9001 Certification preferred

Computer Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Background Checks: Must pass various State and Federal registry checks, criminal background check, credit history check and DCFS Abuse and Neglect Tracking System Check.

Driving: Must pass driving history check and Company policy criteria. Must maintain a valid drivers license and be at least 21 years or older to drive. Company travel using a personally insured vehicle is required.

Physical Demands

Sitting: Frequently sitting in the normal course of office-sedentary type work.

Standing: Occasionally standing, walking, bending, squatting, reaching, and twisting in the normal course of office-sedentary type work and for training workers

Hearing, Speaking: Frequently listens and speaks with managers, clients, and employees to communicate instructions, exchange feedback, conduct meetings and communicate regarding contracts.

Seeing: Continually visually alert to monitor employee and client actions, work with computer systems, documents, and reports and to drive in the course of work

Handling: Frequently using hands in typing, calculating, filing, phone and other office equipment use.

Movement: Occasionally bending, reaching, and twisting; occasionally climbing stairs and/or ladders squatting, and kneeling inspect buildings or work with Customer representative. Frequently exposed to pollen, gas, oil, dirt, and high and low temperatures of 0-100 degrees.

Lifting: Occasionally lifting, carrying, and pushing or pulling up to 10 pounds in the normal course of office work.
