JOB SUMMARY
The Custodian is responsible for the hygiene and cleanliness of the plant’s facilities.
Reports to: Maintenance Manager
Essential Functions of Classification – Custodial Job:
- Sweep and mop rest rooms, clean commodes, and urinals, sinks and mirrors, empty trash cans
- Fill paper holders as needed
- Sweep and mop canteen, clean table, fill napkin holders, assures condiments are accessible
- Clean wipe canteen machinery
- Keep rest rooms and canteen walls free of grease
- Sweep employee entrance clean
- Sweep aisles in locker area, keep trash off top of lockers
- During summer months, keep liquid drink mix prepared and cups in canteen
- Clean water fountains
- Sweep and mop quality assurance and supervisor’s offices
- Vacuum or sweep front offices, dust as needed, mop as needed, empty trash
- Requisition cleaning supplies as needed
- Any other duties assigned

Qualifications
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Good communication
- Team player with good attendance history.
- Able to work without close supervision and ability to multi-task
- Must be able and willing to work required hours and overtime if necessary
