Job Title Finance Administrative Associate


This position is located at the Milliken & Company Cushman Plant in Williamston, SC. The position provides administrative support for the following areas: payroll, purchasing, accounting, inventory control, and financial analysis. The position reports to the Plant Finance Leader.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain files, records and reports
  • Code, input, audit, and track PAYROLL time and attendance (includes working on holidays)
  • Be the face of Payroll for associate questions and own the payroll process
  • Process temp labor, temp invoicing and audit temp labor
  • Owner of Returns of Raw Material to Vendors and ensuring credit is given in SAP
  • Scanning Purchase orders and Work orders in as needed
  • Reconciles inventory cycle counts and complete inventory movement analysis
  • Conduct financial analysis of expenses as directed by Plant Finance Leader
  • Backup and assist supply room associates (Order input and Receiving of Supplies)
  • Backup for material consumption (i.e. cloth tubes)
  • Prepare requisitions and stock office supplies
  • Perform audits on purchase orders and inventory as instructed by the Plant Finance Leader
  • Research and reconcile purchase order receipts with vendor invoices
  • Support the Finance Leader with managing ledger accounts and expense coding
  • Track all waste in Excel, process waste invoices in SAP and prepare waste B/Ls for shipping
  • Prepare freight invoices and administrative pay requests
  • Process utility bills and ensure consumption is accurate and input into the energy accruals excel sheet
  • Identify ways to improve relevant financial processes and help to document procedures for them
  • Support administrative needs in the office
  • Assist Plant Finance Leader in preparing reports and presentations
  • Have an active role on your safety team (assisting the team as needed)

Qualifications – Required:

  • Minimum 2-year degree or equivalent work experience in finance
  • Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SAP (emphasis on Finance)
  • Excellent Excel skills including formulas and pivots

Work hours are 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday.
