Academy of Art University is seeking an exceptional Curriculum Systems Specialist that is a data enthusiast, has a passion for statistics and analyzing numbers, patterns and metrics. The Curriculum Systems Specialist will ensure the accuracy and integrity of large amounts of data and workflows to maintain the accuracy and integrity of extensive educational data.

Working closely with the Curriculum Manager this fully remote opportunity will work Monday- Friday from 8:30am to 5pm (PST).

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with all aspects of entering curriculum changes into the various data bases and processing curriculum changes including but not limited to, new courses and changes pertaining to course fees, prerequisites, class caps, course titles, and course descriptions
• Assist in maintaining class schedules: cancel classes, add classes, cross-listing, and update class schedules
• Assist with adding, removing, or updating faculty assignments to the schedule of classes, website, and regulatory documents
• Processes syllabi & course outlines in LMS (Learning Management Systems)
• Respond to and forward to the appropriate office a variety of Student Information Systems and Curriculum issues
• Assist in entering department Program Learning Outcomes
• Pull daily data sets, run macros, format, and post reports
• Supports the Assistant Manager in reviewing and preparing the course catalog and catalog addendums for publication
• Assist on an as-needed basis with any requests as instructed by the Executive Office, Human Resources, Compliance, etc.

Qualifications

• Growth learning mindset with the desire to take on challenges and succeed
• Experience in higher education is preferred, with proven experience with education technology
• Significant experience merging large reports
• Demonstrated success managing large-scale data integrity
• Highly technologically adept, including PeopleSoft, creating macros and Excel with VLOOKUP
• Demonstrated success with data integrity management
• Deep expertise with Learning Management Systems
• High attention to detail and structured problem solving
• Ability to conduct detailed testing, error analysis, and quality-assurance activities

Compensation:

$22.00 - $27.00 per hour, based on experience and location
