Title Curriculum Coordinator

Status: Full Time (39 hours per week)
Pay Rate: $15/hour
Job Purpose
Manage and maintain accurate curriculum records and course schedules, including academic plans, degree audits, course substitutions, and student program changes. Provide support to students and campus offices by answering questions, fulfilling requests, and educating stakeholders on curriculum and scheduling matters.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Respond to inquiries about academic plans, degree audits, course substitutions, and student record changes via phone, email, and in person.
- Maintain student academic records, including academic plans, course replacements, student degree/curriculum changes.
- Process graduation applications and degree audits.
- Provide assistance to students, staff, and faculty in person at the office.
- Assist with scheduling documentation and publication.
- Collaborate with Registrar on policies for curriculum revisions and student record changes.
- Partner with various offices to update and maintain accurate curricula and academic plans.
Other Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide basic student academic advising.
- Assist in registration processes.
- Assist with transcript evaluations and credit transfers.
- Assist with graduation rehearsal and commencement each semester.
- Assist Registrar with academic catalog updates.
- Assist the Registrar’s office in any additional matters as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation on policies and procedures related to areas of responsibility.

Knowledge and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Strong interpersonal and task management skills
- Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
- Advanced Excel skills preferred
- Able to master various student information management systems
- Ability to work effectively amidst interruptions
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Familiarity with student information systems is a plus
- Knowledge of FERPA regulations and accreditation requirements is preferred
- Prior experience in a registrar's office or similar educational environment is preferred
Fiscal Responsibility
Extent of Public Contact
- Regular interoffice communication, primarily with administration, faculty, and staff
- Communication with external vendors and partners (e.g., loan companies, verification companies, etc.)
- Occasional communications with outside organizations interested in acquiring student information
Physical Demands
- Normal fitness for general office duties
Working Conditions and Environment
- Ability to take classes at the institution with prior scheduling approval by the Registrar
- Occasional mandatory overtime during high volume times of the year (orientation, graduation, etc.)
