The Cure Lead acts as a support for the Cure supervisor, to assist them with documentation and supervision of the Cure staff's daily responsibilities. The Cure staff is part of the facility's Compliance department, which endeavors to sustain and grow the business at King City Gardens through effective quality control, monitoring, and reporting of all cannabis in the cultivation facility.
Duties & Responsibilities: Functions as a METRC registered employee and assists with record-keeping Reports to Cure Room Supervisor primarily and Post Harvest QC Manager secondarily on all compliance and METRC-related issues Assists and maintains the METRC internal tracking system under the supervision of the Cure Supervisor “Burping” flower bins and jars during cure time to ensure our product is always at the highest potential quality Maintains a constant awareness of product in the Cure Room, as well as harvest batches and bulk packages stored in additional bulk product storage rooms Maintains a knowledge of proper cannabis curing and basics of strain identification Meets on a daily and weekly basis with the Cure Supervisor and/or other Compliance personnel to stay informed of upcoming compliance and METRC-related changes throughout the facility Participates in routine (weekly) audits of the packages and harvest batches being cured or stored in the Cure Room and additional bulk product storage rooms Responsible for monitoring the compliance and quality of all packages and harvest batches in the Cure Room and additional bulk product storage rooms Assists with creation of bulk packages from harvest batches, verifying information and quality throughout the entire process Prepares for and conducts third-party lab sampling of marijuana batches as needed Reviews test results and verify adherence to state rules and company policies pre and post testing Assists Cure Room Supervisor with regularly scheduled and unannounced internal audits as well as internal audits of all METRC submissions Assists Director of Compliance in preparation for announced/unannounced state inspections (quarterly and annually) Performs any other related duties that will be assigned throughout employment Commits to treating every individual with respect and dignity Maintains ability to train Cure Room Specialists on all tasks of the Cure Room Knowledgeable of all functions/tasks of the Cure Room Supervisor with the ability to fill in where/when needed Able to assist Cure Room Supervisor with leading the Cure Specialists in daily/weekly responsibilities

Industry & Physical Requirements: Must have Cure Room Experience Must be at least 21 years of age Must be available to work weekends and Holidays when needed Stipulation of employment is passing an OHIO BCI and FBI background check by ORC/OAC 3796 Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 30 lbs. to a height of 4 feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight as needed with or without mechanical assistance
