As a Culinary Support Roundsperson on our Westbrook team, you willhelp deliverfresh,high-quality food in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.You will havethe opportunity to showcase your culinary skills, contribute to menu development, and work across multiple kitchen functions.

This role supports the day-to-day employee experience at IDEXX by ensuring food is prepared safely, consistently, and to a high standard.You work helpsmaintain smooth café operations and contributes to abustlingworkplace where employees can rely on quality service.
You will prepare and serve food as directed by the Head Chef and/or Executive Chef
You will provide culinary support including line cooking, food preparation, menu creation, and plating
You will work across all venues and cross-train to support a variety of kitchen operations
You will monitor sanitation practices and ensure compliance with food safety regulations
You will maintain safe food handling procedures and promote a safe working environment
You will clean and maintain café equipment and machinery
You will deliver excellent customer service and maintain professional working relationships
You will maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with CDC guidelines
You will assist with maintaining kitchen organization and inventory alongside the Head Chef
You will contribute to menu development in collaboration with culinary leadership
Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, includingstandingfor extended periods;performingrepetitive hand and arm movements;walkingfrequently (approximately 3–5 miles per day);lifting, carrying, pushing, and pullingup to 50 pounds; andoccasionally bending, climbing, balancing, kneeling, or crouching
Strongfood preparation skills and the ability to produce a variety of dishes with quality and consistency
Ability toassist in menu development and contribute creativity to culinary offerings
Strongteamfocusandability tocontribute both independently and collaboratively
Autonomy towork with minimal supervision and make sound decisions when needed
Commitment to quality, food safety, and customer service excellence
Basiccomputer skills, including email usage
Willingness togive and receive constructive feedback and continuously improve
