The Senior Programs Culinary Coordinator (Chef) is responsible for planning, preparing, and serving nutritious meals in support of senior programming at the Oscar Johnson, Jr. Enrichment & Recreation Center (OJJERC). This position oversees all kitchen operations, including menu development, food ordering, inventory management, meal preparation, and maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant kitchen environment.
In addition to senior meal services, this role supports broader Parks & Recreation operations by providing services for events, preparing snacks for after-school and Camp Fun Quest programs, and developing and leading nutrition and cooking classes for participants of all ages. The position also supervises part-time staff and ensures efficient daily kitchen operations.
