Wise Path Recovery Centers
Camp Baer & Westover/Morgantown
Morgantown, West Virginia
Full-Time | On-Site

JOIN A MISSION THAT CHANGES LIVES!

At Wise Path Recovery Centers, in partnership with Ascension Recovery Services, we provide integrated behavioral health and addiction treatment through evidence-based, high-quality care.

We believe healing happens in every part of the treatment experience—including the meals we serve.

Food is more than nutrition. It can provide comfort, connection, consistency, and a sense of community during an incredibly important time in someone's life.

We are seeking a hands-on, mission-driven leader to oversee food and dining services for our Wise Path Recovery Centers in the Morgantown area. This leader will help launch the culinary program at our new Camp Baer retreat-style treatment center while also providing leadership and operational support for dining services at our existing Westover/Morgantown facility

If you know how to run a great kitchen, develop a strong team, manage costs, maintain high food-safety standards, and still care deeply about the experience of the people you serve, we would love to meet you.

About Us

Wise Path Recovery Centers provides integrated behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment designed to help individuals build healthier, more sustainable lives in recovery.

Camp Baer represents an exciting next chapter for Wise Path—a new retreat-style recovery environment in the Morgantown area designed to combine exceptional treatment with a peaceful, restorative setting.

The Dining Manager will have the unique opportunity to help build the food service program at Camp Baer from the ground up while helping create consistency and excellence across our Morgantown-area facilities.

Why You Should Join Us

This is more than a traditional kitchen management position.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Help build and launch the dining program for a brand-new treatment center
  • Support food service operations across two Morgantown-area Wise Path facilities
  • Create menus and dining experiences that contribute to a welcoming, restorative environment
  • Hire, train, and develop a strong culinary team
  • Establish kitchen systems, workflows, and standards from the beginning
  • Build vendor relationships and improve purchasing efficiencies
  • Partner with clinical, medical, and operational leaders
  • Make a meaningful impact on the daily experience of individuals working toward recovery

What You’ll Do

You will oversee food service operations supporting both Camp Baer and our Westover/Morgantown facility

Kitchen & Dining Operations

  • Lead the startup and organization of food service operations at Camp Baer
  • Provide ongoing leadership and operational support for dining services at the Westover/Morgantown location
  • Oversee meal preparation, service, sanitation, storage, and kitchen workflows
  • Ensure meals are prepared safely, consistently, and on schedule
  • Maintain clean, organized, professional, and inspection-ready kitchens and dining spaces
  • Create consistent food service standards across both locations
  • Monitor food quality, presentation, portions, and overall dining experience
  • Adjust food production and purchasing based on facility census and operational needs

Menu Planning & Client Experience

  • Develop balanced weekly and rotating menus
  • Collaborate with a Registered Dietitian or other qualified professionals as needed
  • Coordinate with clinical and medical teams regarding dietary needs
  • Maintain appropriate procedures for food allergies, restrictions, and medically indicated diets
  • Provide reasonable and culturally responsive meal options when appropriate
  • Listen to client and staff feedback and identify opportunities to improve dining services
  • Help create a dining environment that feels welcoming, respectful, and consistent with the therapeutic mission of Wise Path

Purchasing, Inventory & Budget

  • Manage food, beverage, and kitchen supply purchasing
  • Establish and maintain strong vendor relationships
  • Coordinate purchasing needs across both Morgantown-area facilities

Who You Are

You are organized, hands-on, and comfortable taking ownership.

You know how to run a kitchen—but you also know how to lead people.

You understand food costs, inventory, sanitation, staffing, and compliance, but you don't lose sight of the fact that the meal on the plate is being served to a person who may be going through one of the most difficult periods of their life.

You can balance hospitality with structure, compassion with accountability, and quality with responsible cost management.

Most importantly, you want your work to matter.
