This is an "as-needed", non-benefited, position with 8 hour shifts that could vary between days and evenings.
Per Diem employees receive an additional 10% premium-pay differential in lieu of benefits, on top of hourly base rate!
Assist Cafe customers, handle cash, operate cash register, and perform clerical duties. Follow cash handling policies and procedures; Ensure proper accountability of monies issued; Complete daily cash reports. Participate in theme day decorating and wear appropriate attire. Maintain organized work area; Follow proper quality assurance and infection control procedures when preparing and serving food; Demonstrate proper use, maintenance and sanitation of all equipment related to area of responsibility; Communicate suggestions, concerns, problems and unsafe conditions promptly to appropriate supervisor or manager; Exhibit professional courtesy toward patients, visitors, customers, and employees; Perform other duties as assigned based on departmental needs. Float position will have varying schedule that may include cooking, Ambassador position, utility or cash register position.
Education and Training:
High School Diploma or GED, required.
Licensures/Certifications:
Washington Food Handlers Card, required.
Experience:
Two years in customer service/food industry, preferred.

TriState Health is located on 11 acres at 1221 Highland Avenue in Clarkston, WA with 7 acres available for expansion. In addition to the Hospital, the campus includes various physician’s offices, Pathologists’ Regional Laboratory, Owl Tri-State Pharmacy and Evergreen Estates Retirement & Assisted Living Community, an independent and assisted living center located directly behind the hospital. The campus also includes the TriState Medical Office Building, consisting of several suites which house our medical clinics.
