Cherokee's Culinary Leadership in Development Program combines hands on experience in a multifaceted culinary operation with the leadership and business development needed to take the next step. Learn from accomplished chefs, take on real responsibility, and prepare to lead a culinary team of your own.

Job Summary:

You'll learn the full range of a culinary operation at one of the top clubs in the country, from a la carte and private event service to pastry, purchasing, and team leadership. This program prepares culinary graduates to step into leadership roles in the kitchen.

Essential Functions of the job:

  • Execute a la carte, high volume, and private event service.
  • Take part in pastry and specialty production.
  • Handle menu prep, purchasing, and inventory.
  • Maintain food safety, quality, and kitchen organization.
  • Build your understanding of labor, scheduling, budgeting, and cost awareness.
  • Develop team leadership skills and collaborate with the front of house team.

Requirements

  • Passion for the culinary industry and eagerness to learn.
  • Interest in building toward leadership roles in the kitchen.
  • Curious, dependable, and detail oriented.
  • Commitment to producing excellent experiences for members and guests.

Education and Experience required:
