Responsible for providing students with industry-recognized instruction and training in the Career Technical Training Center, preparing them for full-time employment, higher education, or advanced training

Provides students with training that leads to Career Technical Training completion and industry-recognized certifications
Delivers comprehensive and individualized case management to support student progress, achievement, and completion of the Job Corps program.
Provides quality career technical training that supports student job placement.
Offers students job leads and monitors the placement of all graduates.
Ensures the classroom is well-organized and conducive to learning.
Holds students accountable for following the Center’s dress code and behavioral standards
Produces high-quality work/assignments in a thorough, timely, and accurate manner.
Maintains appropriate attendance, accountability, and work productivity
Plans, prioritizes, and organizes assignments to meet established goals and deadlines
Demonstrates strong job knowledge and proactively maintains necessary skills.
Mentors, monitors, and models the Career Success Standards as required by the PRH.

Minimum of one year of experience in teaching or a related field required
Must be certified, licensed, or accredited in the state where the Center is located, or accredited by a professional trade organization
For NTC, the instructor must be certified by a union, trade organization, or a national trade-certifying organization
Previous Job Corps experience preferred.
Must possess a valid Driver’s License and meet all company insurability requirements
Includes sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping, and crouching
Must demonstrate the ability to lift 40 pounds, and/or assess the lift load to determine when assistance is needed.
