Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
OTJ, TECHNICAL TRAINING – NEEDS ANALYSIS & SOLUTIONING, DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT AND DELIVERY (60%)
- Establish the foundation, library, build a training program, facilitate training programs following the training library and training process in collaboration with Functional Departments and Manufacturing Operations.
- Provides appropriate solutions, actions, or corrective actions when a deviation is found in operations related to the training area. Coordinates with the Engineering, Production, and Quality teams for problem-solving.
- Provides training logistics arrangement and on-site/overseas support for plant-wide training programs and new product transferring
- Acts as a project team member for training activities, ensuring all requirements are met and the smooth running of training sessions.
- Utilizes various data collection tools and analytics to make improvements and recommend future enhancements for training solutions
TRAINING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM & DOCUMENTATION (20%)
- Leads the administration of the daily operations of the Training Management System, including maintaining and improving the efficiency of training software, training database, training records, and others.
- Leads/supports/coordinates all training activities regarding the development of training processes, procedures, or other documentations that support the training process, namely: skillset, training forms, templates, training materials, training tools, training library, etc
SUPERVISION, MANAGEMENT AND LEADESHIP (10%)
- Ensure your team is staffed, motivated, inspired, engaged and empowered to deliver a high and sustainable performance level in an ever-changing environment at a cost level the organization can sustain and reflects market realities.
- Ensure you have the right people in the right jobs by consistently using proper interview and selection techniques and methodologies throughout your organization.

- Ensure the Performance Management Process is fully operating with meaningful stretch goals for all employees in your organization, that feedback is ongoing and focused on development, and done with 100% On Time Delivery.
- Ensure a free flow of two-way information for your organization to work effectively, and that communication channels are active and open.
- Ensure an accident-free environment by following all EH&S policies and procedures, maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment, and openly endorsing and creating an attitude that all accidents are preventable within your sphere of influence.
- Ensure the spirit and intent of all employment laws and regulations, and COHERENT and local HR policies and procedures are understood and complied with in your area.
OTHERS (10%)
- Supports special projects as required
- Performs tasks assigned by supervisors
- Recommends solutions for continuous improvement and cost reduction
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial management or business administration or equivalent etc.
- Educational background of Engineering & Technology is preferred.
- 5+ years of related working experience in Training, education, learning & organizational development, with deep experience in managing Technical Training Program in a manufacturing organization (semiconductor industry), implementing and supporting to deliver appropriate learning interventions and course contents for training programs is a plus.
- Management/Leadership experience is a plus.
Skills
- High proficiency in both English and Vietnamese.
- Skilled at implementing and coordinating a full cycle of training process, from Training Needs Analysis, budgeting, implementation & delivery to evaluation, in support of company goals, especially for Production Training.
- Ability to excel in a cross-organizational, cross-cultural, global-team environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills and the ability to comprehend and communicate at multiple levels within and outside the organization.
- Excellent in MS Office, Visualization, Power BI or other digitalization software.
