Clinical Trial Manager - Finance

As a CTM – Contract & Finance Affairs at ICON, you will be responsible for overseeing contract and financial activities across assigned clinical studies, ensuring investigator agreements, payment terms, and study budgets are managed effectively to support seamless trial execution.

What You Will Do:

You will manage day-to-day contract and financial operations, partnering with project teams and stakeholders to deliver efficient and compliant outcomes across clinical programmes. Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead the preparation, review, and management of investigator agreements, amendments, and payment terms, ensuring alignment with study budgets and operational requirements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for contract and site payment-related matters, collaborating closely with Project Leadership, Clinical Operations, and Global Site Contracts teams.
  • Support contract negotiations and budget discussions with internal stakeholders, ensuring timely execution and compliance with study timelines.
  • Oversee site payment setup and maintenance within the investigator payment system, ensuring accurate execution in accordance with contractual obligations.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to contracts, budgets, and payment processes, while supporting audits, reporting activities, and continuous process improvements.

Your Profile:

You will have strong experience in clinical contracts, site agreements, or financial operations within clinical research, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Required qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, Life Sciences, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience within a Clinical Research Organization (CRO), with exposure to site contracts, budgets, or investigator payments.
  • Strong understanding of clinical trial agreements, contract amendments, payment terms, and study budget management.
  • Experience supporting contract negotiations and working with cross-functional stakeholders in global clinical studies.
  • Advanced level of English.
  • Based in Buenos Aires and available to attend the office two times per week.
