Job Description

The  CTD Sales Representative is responsible for driving revenue growth within the Mining and Metals sector by identifying new business opportunities and managing relationships with key industry stakeholders. This role focuses on promoting technical and commercial services, such as  Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC), to mining operators, smelters, and commodity traders.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Development: Proactively identify and qualify new leads within the mining, metal processing, and smelter sectors to expand the company’s market share.
  • Account Management: Build and maintain long-term strategic relationships with mine owners, EPC contractors, and project stakeholders.
  • Solution Selling: Present and promote integrated services, including QA/QC, HSE compliance, and technical support, tailored to client needs.
  • Proposal & Negotiation: Lead the development of technical proposals, cost strategies, and commercial negotiations for service contracts.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and evolving ESG/sustainability requirements affecting mining operations.
  • Field Engagement: Conduct frequent site visits to mines and client offices to provide technical backup and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular sales activity reports, pipeline updates, and visit summaries for management.

Job Requirements :
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in  Geology, Mining Engineering, Metallurgy, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience in B2B sales or business development, specifically within the  Mining, Metal, or TIC industry
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of mining operations, mineral processing, and regional mining regulations.
  • Network: Established network with mining operators, smelter owners, and major EPC firms in Indonesia is highly preferred.
Technical & Soft Skills:
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Indonesian and  English for technical and commercial reporting.
  • Negotiation: Strong presentation and negotiation abilities to close high-value service contracts.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce or HubSpot).
  • Mobility: Must possess a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel frequently to remote mining sites.
