CT Technologist reviews CT ordered and accesses which protocol to use. Proper parameters must be used to obtain quality images for diagnostic purposes. Proper techniques must be used to obtain quality films for diagnostic purposes.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Performing CT exams
  • Clinical duties
  • Start IV for contrast studies when needed
  • Review the CT safety screening sheet with patient
  • Investigate CT Safety of implants
  • Other duties as assigned – i.e., maintaining equipment and supplies

EDUCATION

  • Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Registration as an American Registered Radiologic Technologist and CT Technologist.

EXPERIENCE

  • a minimum of 1-year work experience in a health care facility setting.
  • Excellent clinical skills with outstanding customer service skills are required.

OIP formed The Orthopedic Injury Clinic to better serve its patients day and night by offering orthopedic injury clinic hours 7 days a week at its Camp Hill office and 5 days a week at its Harrisburg location. In addition to the clinic, OIP offers 24/7 acute orthopedic injury advice and care by calling 855-OUCH-OIP.
