About the Job
Performs CT procedures using independent judgment and technical skill to produce high‑quality diagnostic images. Ensures safe, accurate, and efficient care while adhering to departmental protocols and regulatory standards.
What you'll do
CT Imaging & Patient Care
Perform CT exams according to departmental protocols to produce high‑quality diagnostic images, including 3‑D reconstructions.
Explain procedures, obtain relevant patient history, and ensure accurate patient identification.
Assist patients with positioning, transfers, and comfort measures while promoting safety and following universal precautions.
Administer IV contrast and monitor for reactions, following contrast safety guidelines.
Here is what you'll need
Experience:
Required: 1–2 years of related experience
Education:
Required: Associate’s Degree or equivalent training
Preferred Degree: Radiologic Technology
Licensure/Certifications
Required:
American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
Illinois Emergency Management Agency Certification (IEMA)
Computer Assisted Tomography (CT Technologist)
CPR from American Heart Association (ONLY)
ARRT CT certification required within 13 months of hire (agency staff must have CT certification at start)

Pay Range: $35.00 -$57.00 per hour
Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
