CT Technologist at Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Fort Worth:
Performs quality diagnostic procedures accurately and in a timely manner for Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital at Fort Worth and Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital at Fort Worth Outpatient Center.Operates CT and x-ray equipment, prepares exam room, equipment, supplies and medications. Provides excellent patient care. Practices proper radiation safety techniques on all exams performed.
· The Radiologic technologist operates CT and X-ray equipment, prepares exam room, equipment, supplies and medications.
· Provides excellent patient care in their assigned area.
· Practices proper radiation safety techniques on all exams preformed.
· Performs all Quality control checks, as prescribed.
· Maintains accurate QC logs, service records, etc.
· Performs highest quality imaging consistent with prescribed examination: documents and deviation
· Practices medical and surgical aseptic procedures
· Investigates promptly and follows up on unusual incidents and communicates with Radiology Leadership
· Takes emergency call as assigned
Qualifications
Education:
· High School diploma or equivalent
· Graduate of AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology
Licensure/Certification:
· Current & Active American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R.T.(R)(CT)(ARRT) Certificate
· Current & Active Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) General License
· Current BLS certification
