Job Description

Cooperidge Consulting Firm is seeking a CT Technologist for a top Healthcare client.

This technical role is dedicated to consistently delivering superior customer service and patient care, demonstrating respect, dignity, and empathy in every encounter. The Technologist performs various CT examinations according to physician orders, utilizing independent judgment to ensure accurate results, and champions the organization’s mission, vision, and values while adhering to all policies and ethical standards.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform all required CT examinations accurately and efficiently, following verified physician orders and established protocols.
  • Conduct specialized invasive procedures as needed, strictly adhering to established protocol and any specific instructions from the Radiologist.
  • Perform venipuncture according to established protocol and complete tube warm-ups as required for equipment readiness.
  • Document accurate and pertinent patient information related to the exam being performed and complete all necessary computer functions.
  • Assure patient comfort, recognize their needs and concerns during the encounter, and communicate with respect, dignity, and empathy.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions immediately and assist in monitoring and advising the supervisor of necessary supply ordering.
  • At the beginning and end of each shift, assure that all necessary supplies are fully stocked to maintain the daily schedule.

Requirements

Education

  • Graduation from an accredited Radiology Technology School is required.

Experience

  • One (1) year of CT experience is preferred.
  • Acute care experience is NOT required for this role.

Certifications/Licenses

  • Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist license is required.
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) (R) and (CT) registry is preferred.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification, or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Skills

  • Proven ability to perform venipuncture and follow established protocols for invasive procedures.
  • Strong commitment to providing superior customer service, demonstrating respect and empathy in every patient encounter.
  • Proficiency in accurate computer functions and inventory stocking relative to daily duties.
