Department: Emergency Department

Schedule: 3x12s | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

A healthcare system in Brunswick, Georgia is seeking CT Technologists to join a busy Emergency Department imaging team. This role offers the opportunity to work with modern equipment, supportive leadership, and a collaborative clinical team in a fast-paced environment.

The department utilizes two new CT scanners and GE imaging equipment, providing technologists with advanced tools to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging.

Full-Time Positions

  • Saturday - Monday | 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
  • Friday - Sunday | 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

The CT Technologist performs high-quality CT imaging procedures while supporting emergency department physicians and radiologists in diagnosing and treating patients.

This role ensures patient safety, maintains imaging quality standards, and follows all radiation safety and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform CT imaging procedures according to physician orders and established protocols
  • Operate CT scanners, contrast injectors, and associated imaging equipment
  • Obtain accurate patient histories and verify imaging orders
  • Explain procedures clearly to patients and address questions or concerns
  • Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to ensure imaging accuracy
  • Maintain compliance with radiation safety standards and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain imaging quality and proper documentation for procedures
  • Coordinate with nursing and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient workflow

Qualifications

Education

Graduate of an accredited Radiology program

Certifications

  • ARRT (R) required
  • CT registry required within 12 months of hire

Additional Requirements

  • BLS certification required
  • Strong communication and patient care skills

Technologists who are not yet CT registered will have 12 months to obtain their CT registry, and the facility will cover the cost of certification.
