Each member’s care is led by a dedicated Chief Medical Officer who collaborates on your behalf with specialists in cardiology, neurology, pediatrics, gynecology, endocrinology, performance and movement, and more. Our exceptional clinicians also work closely with the 60+ members of the Atria Academy of Science & Medicine, top experts in their respective fields who are available for rapid consults, support, and referrals.

The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality CT scans and assisting with diagnostic imaging procedures. This role involves ensuring patient safety, preparing patients for procedures, and maintaining equipment. The CT Technologist collaborates with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care. The Radiologic Technologist operates independently across desginated multi-Modalities of CT, Diagnostic Xray, & Dexa.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform CT scans on patients as ordered by physicians, ensuring adherence to protocols and safety standards.
  • Performs Diagnostic Xray and Dexa exams according to standardized institutional protocols s part of daily Technologist Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
  • Operate and maintain CT , Xray , Dexa equipment, ensuring functionality and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Administer contrast media and monitor patients for any adverse reactions.
  • Prepare and position patients accurately for specific examinations, observing different and special requirements for each protocol, ensuring proper documentation.
  • Assist in positioning patients correctly to obtain the best images for diagnosis.
  • Review images for quality and completeness before submitting them to radiologists.
  • Document all procedures and patient interactions accurately in the medical record.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to infection control practices.
  • Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Stay current with advancements in CT technology and continuing education requirements.

Compensation:

$80 - $82/hr

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
  • Active Registry in CT though the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
  • NY State DOH Radiologic licensure required.
  • 2 years Experience in a clinical Hospital or Outpatient setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with CT Coronary Angiography required
  • Experience with Dexa and Diagnostic radiology preferred
  • Siemens Experience preferred
  • Looking for consistent Wednesday coverage weekend availability
