Job title:

In this role, you will leverage your clinical and technical expertise to drive the development and growth of Philips CT business strategies. You will play a key role in shaping the future of diagnostic technologies, working closely with clinical, research, and business teams to drive innovation, research collaborations, and clinical evidence generation.

You will focus on translating clinical and technical knowledge into impactful, evidence-based solutions. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team of clinical, technical, and business professionals working together with clinicians to address key clinical needs and create growth in the field medical imaging. You will be responsible for advancing disruptive technologies across diverse clinical domains of cardiology, diagnostic radiology and oncology.

Your role:

  • Identify new customer needs and drive co-creation and early ideation, shaping the funnel of ideas and research projects with clinical and research partners to improve diagnosis, treatment, and care methods.

  • Contribute to the development of clinical prototypes, innovation roadmaps, and the overall strategy for CT businesses.

  • Provide thought leadership in line with the business strategy, including supporting marketing strategies with key insights, contributing to market shaping through publications, and developing next-generation Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) by working with new partners.

  • Collaborate with clinical experts in various clinical areas to drive feasibility studies, co-create solutions, and execute concept and feasibility studies in line with the business strategy.

  • Engage in clinical research collaborations, execute investigator-initiated post-market clinical studies, and support Philips-sponsored trials to demonstrate the clinical value and merit of new technologies.

  • Provide key insights into the clinical customer’s decision-making process, particularly regarding the incorporation of new methods and technological innovations.

  • Maintain and develop a network of KOLs and other key stakeholders to drive ideation and feasibility studies for future technologies.

  • Keep abreast of clinical, regulatory, and market developments through clinical workflow analysis, conference participation, literature research, and clinical visits.

  • Generate and maintain the clinical strategy plan to support business and marketing targets and ensure its execution and realization.

  • Prepare and deliver roadmap presentations to customers focused on clinical and technical components of the value proposition, highlighting the added value to clinical outcomes and workflow efficiency.

You're the right fit if:

Qualifications:

  • MD, PhD, or MSc in biomedical sciences/engineering, imaging, or a related discipline.

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience interacting with clinical partners and clinical research.

  • Strong clinical background, preferably in CT, or similar imaging modality.

  • Experience in clinical investigations, especially in a hospital setting.

  • Knowledge of imaging procedures and innovations across cardiology, radiology, and oncology.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders, including physician investigators, marketing, clinical science, and R&D teams.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Comfortable with multi-tasking and transitioning from macro to micro-level focus.

  • A self-learner, customer-oriented, and enthusiastic about exploring new technologies and solutions.

  • Ability to travel to hospitals and medical congresses as needed.

Preferred Experience:

  • Proven experience in driving evidence creation and supporting clinical collaborations and studies.

  • Comfort with co-creation, ideation, and clinical research collaborations across multiple domains.

  • Articulate in conveying information both written and orally, with the ability to clearly communicate complex technical and clinical information to various stakeholders.
