Roles and Responsibilities
Provides expertise in analyzing learning needs, designing training solutions for a business or function.
Focused on technical training essential for a particular business or function, and does not include Leadership Learning, which falls within HR.
Includes trainers and coordinators whose main task is to deliver the training content or make logistical arrangements for training programs.
Broadening knowledge of own sales territory, product lines, markets, sales processes or customer groups to execute policy/strategy. Still acquiring higher level knowledge and skills.
Basic understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work.
Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework.
Resolves issues in situations that require commercial knowledge and judgment within established procedures.
Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
Communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered.
For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between the customer and GE. Explains technical information to others.
