TSMC Arizona is looking for a CST Tool Install Engineer to join our 5-nanometer fab, located in sunny Phoenix, Arizona. As a CST Tool Install Engineer, you will demonstrate a strong sense of reliability and enthusiasm and will possess an attitude that embodies our core values – Integrity, Commitment, Innovation and Customer Trust.

TSMC Arizona’s Central Startup Team (CST) is responsible for fab module tool installation and start-up hookup planning as well as facility design.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Gas/chemical/electricity hookup installation for semiconductor tools.
  • Subject matter expert in semiconductor equipment installation procedure.
  • Accountable for executing projects.
  • Assist with scheduling, planning, and conducting project meetings.
  • Trace project and be able to monitor status while summarizing key messages.
  • Prepare reporting with quality and timely delivery.
  • Able to communicate with various cross-functional stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States and have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline including Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Knowledge in hookup technical skills and the abilities needed to perform the job; having experience with Facility engineering or Fab. start-up and trades management experience is preferred.
  • Willingness to display a disciplined approach to your work.
  • Strong technical ability, critical thinking and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex equipment problems and address the root cause.
  • Willingness to aim for inspired work; creating new ideas and finding actions that make a difference.
  • Strong capability of focusing on activities that provide huge positive impacts for the department.
  • Cross team communication skills.
